Quick answer
Compare cordless leaf blowers by CFM and MPH as the maker labels them, not by RPM. The top Best Sellers print figures such as "990,000 RPM", which is a motor-speed claim and says nothing about how much air a blower moves. The blowers with manufacturer pages we could read are DeWalt's DCE100B and EGO's LB6151 and LB7654.

What DeWalt and EGO say
We read each manufacturer's page on 2026-10-07 and give the figures exactly as labeled.
| Model | Platform | Motor | Airflow as labeled | Noise | Battery and runtime |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DeWalt DCE100B | 20V MAX | Brushed | "MAX air flow 100cfm", "Maximum Air Speed 135.0-mph" | 96 dB "Noise Rating" | Tool only; no runtime stated |
| EGO LB6151 | 56V ARC Lithium | Brushless | Turbo 615 CFM, up to 170 MPH with the tapered nozzle attached; dial 200 to 480 CFM | 63 dB (no distance or standard given) | Up to 75 minutes with the included 2.5Ah battery |
| EGO LB7654 | 56V ARC Lithium | Brushless | Turbo 765 CFM, up to 200 MPH with the tapered nozzle; dial 260 to 580 CFM | No figure on the page | Up to 90 minutes with the recommended 5.0Ah battery (15 minutes on turbo, 150 on low) |
The DeWalt page lists the DCE100B at 3.95 lb with three nozzles. The LB6151 and LB7654 are the kits with a battery and charger; EGO also sells them as bare tools under different model numbers. Neither brand explains how it measures CFM or MPH, so use the figures to compare within a brand, not as a lab test.
Listings that print RPM
We read these listings on 2026-10-07. We have not tested any of them and are not recommending them.
| Listing | Sold by | What it prints | What we noticed |
|---|---|---|---|
| FAOGO | YUQUESEN | "990,000 RPM", 2 batteries and a charger | Some of its top reviews are about paper clips, and one reviewer received a different brand's unit |
| Plymax | PlymaxDirect | "800,000 RPM", 2 x 4.0Ah 21V batteries | No CFM figure |
| YOOVL | YOOVL-Store | "650CFM", 2 x 5.2Ah 20V batteries | The brand isn't in the title; a runtime claim of 150 minutes against reviewers who report 25 to 30 minutes |
We left out one more "990,000 RPM" listing because its top reviews and review summary were for a silicone baking mat, so its 4.9 rating tells you nothing about a blower.

How to read the claims
- RPM isn't airflow. A blower's useful figures are CFM (how much air) and MPH (how fast it leaves the nozzle). A huge RPM number can sit next to a small airflow.
- Ask what a CFM figure is measured with. DeWalt and EGO don't say either. A listing that gives no basis at all is the weakest claim.
- Runtime depends on the battery and the setting. EGO's own pages give a runtime for a named battery and say it varies with the setting. A single "150 minutes" claim with no battery or setting isn't comparable.
- Check the reviews. Look for a leaf blower in them. Reviews for other products mean the star rating is pooled.
- Platform. DeWalt 20V MAX and EGO 56V are separate battery systems. See our battery compatibility checker and our EGO battery compatibility note.
Where to buy
The EGO and DeWalt listings differ from the makers' own pages in places. The LB6151 listing's bullets say 615 CFM and 75 minutes while its description says 650 CFM and 90 minutes, and the LB7654 listing gives 90 minutes in one place and 150 in another. Go by EGO's page.

The DeWalt DCE100B listing we checked is sold by a third-party seller and is tool only, so you need a 20V MAX battery:

Read each brand's current terms: DeWalt and EGO. EGO's page gives different terms for consumer and professional use, and for batteries and chargers.
FAQ
Is a 990,000 RPM leaf blower real?
We can't verify it, and RPM isn't a measure of airflow. Compare CFM and MPH as a maker labels them, and ask what the figures are measured with.
Is the EGO LB7654 stronger than the LB6151?
On EGO's pages the LB7654 prints 765 CFM turbo against 615 for the LB6151. Both are EGO's own figures, taken the same way, so the comparison is fair within EGO.
Can I use a DeWalt battery in an EGO blower?
No. DeWalt 20V MAX and EGO 56V are separate systems.
